Zahed is a co-founder and CEO of PepperTree with over 20 years of infrastructure and energy sector financing and advisory experience.

His experience spans origination and execution of energy and infrastructure transactions, globally. His proficiency includes project finance, mergers and acquisitions, export credit finance, privatizations and assignments structuring and arranging various debt instruments and development and permanent equity.

Before founding pH-8 in 2020, Zahed held a variety of leadership roles including Managing Director of Fieldstone Private Capital, London and Head of New Business – Infrastructure, Energy and Telecoms at Nedbank Capital, Johannesburg.

 Zahed’s power experience includes amongst others, the largest financing for a power project in Sub Saharan Africa, the structuring and capital raising for thermal, nuclear and renewable energy. He represented the ECIC at the Prague Club and led advisory teams as part of UKEF’s advisory panel.

 Zahed holds a  Master of Business Administration (1 st Class) and Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Process Engineering).
