Jon is a co-founder and director of PepperTree with over 13 years of financial advisory experience focused on the African market across energy & infrastructure in both M&A and project finance. 

He is an expert in corporate and project finance for cross-border energy finance for renewable and thermal technologies and participated in excess of $4bn of transactions within the energy sector alone. This track record includes capital raisings for debt and equity instruments, fund structuring, restructurings, refinancings, preference share funding and valuations.

At PepperTree he is responsible for bid strategy, secondary markets and South African market coverage

Prior to co-founding PepperTree, Jon worked at Fieldstone for 7 years, reaching Director level and advising on the full spectrum of energy sector transactions as well as multiple infrastructure and mining advisory transactions.

He has a Bachelor of Business Science (Fin, Acc) from the University of Cape Town, is a qualified CA(SA) and is an associate member of the Chartered Financial Analyst institute.
